We have all seen these "Free to Good Home" ads in the newspaper, posters hung up in the supermarket, or signs along the roadway. What these well meaning and trusting owners are offering for their pets, however, is a potentially deadly outcome.

Several years ago I was involved in a real unfortunate series of events which (not wanting to get to deep in to the gory details) involved an accident destroying both a new Powerstroke P/U and a large enclosed trailer full of cargo and a visit to the county jail in Hot Sulfur Springs Colorado.
